TIGHTENED BLOSSOMS
Given equal circumstances, what is better a flower that remains tight in the petals, believing in longevity or the flower that blooms right away, knowing its petals may fall sooner? Every Rose Has It’s Thorn. Yes, I have to reference that famous Poison song. The juxtaposition of a bloom. Strength and delicacy. Vulnerability. Love, nutrients and light. The simple that living things need to flourish. A tightened blossom is resistance. A push back to what is natural in nature. What is needed. Yet for some, the need for control reigns supreme. This false send of power is not only engrained in our psyche but more importantly, in our culture. The…

BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS
The blood pumping through our bodies has the same level of sodium as the sea; dark and rich in nutrients, keeping us buoyant, yet ready to poison us if we drink it. There is a connection to this nature that is inescapable; the salty ocean air permeating our hair and skin blending with our natural oils; a perfume that can’t be replicated. Mercurial waves; the energy of our emotions similar to the tides, the constant ebb and flow. Do we float with the current or swim against it? Sweat, and tears, misting from our pores, a truly tangible sign that we answer ultimately to the call from nature.

AWAKENING OF ONE BODY
I have been single for a long time. I have worked for myself since 2012 My last real vanilla relationship was in 2008. Yes, I’ve had a few affairs, one that actually got quite serious and threw me through a loop. Love and passion can definitely do that. I think I am still learning and growing from that relationship, actually. In fact, 90% of the time. its, me, myself and I. Before you feel sorry for me, know that my life has not been boring or unfulfilling, and I can say with a smile, that I have mastered the art of being alone and loving myself. So…if you find yourself…

MONDAY LOVE: POLISHING THE BRAIN
“It is good to rub and polish our brains against that of other.“ Michel de Montaigne When we look for things that will “next level” our abilities, we can overlook the most simple: interconnectedness. As a companion, I talk about the significance of connection in my ad copy and on my website. It sounds simple but it it takes work and a bit of bravery. The fulfillment of the physical needs the intellectual, to feel that true satisfaction contentment and pleasure. Two Heads Are Better Than One. Two heads, two bodies. An intermingling of the senses to celebrate the nature of being in this with you. Montaigne is for sure…

LOVE & LOGIC – THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING
“Remember that wherever your heart is, there you will find your treasure.” Paulo Coehlo It is to be said that the heart, if you listen closely, will always give you the answers to life. The questions that we ponder, that we cant surmise from logic and so let slip from our mental grasp, our heart is the oracle. Love & Logic. The Theory of Everything. Take note, none of what I write is out of naivete. On the contrary, I’ve experienced everything emotion so deeply: great love, great loss, deep pain, intense desire. There is plenty of room in our life for logic, something we revere and celebrate. We often find…

BLAMING NEWTON
We soldier into the unknown familiarity of this chemical connection. It is the beauty of carnal physics You do not mentally process what it is that happens, but certainly feel it. A brave heart, courage, accelerated by the anticipation of a new journey into intimacy. The brain bubbles with the excitement and confidence soars. You are in the zone. This is the moment where nothing else matters. Everything is just a part in this play called, Life. Fade to black, except for you and me, we are vividly together. The Consequence of Lust… Like a gambler, are known but just don’t fucking matter. We are freefalling into the physiolgoical response.…

THE QUESTION OF PARADISE
“This morning, with her, having coffee.” Johnny Cash When we think of paradise it is often a place. Perhaps a white sand beach that doesn’t burn your feet, with crystal clear water that feels like a refreshing bath. The conjuring of blissful place, that is as calming and invigorating to our insides as it is to our physical being. The cliche, ” we want what we don’t have” creates a longing in us to chase that unknown. This is beyond ambition. Is it greed? Gluttony? Once achieved, what is next? Bigger? Better? Riskier? How to find extraordinary in our ordinary. The rare moments in our lives we chase to stay…
